How Words With Friends Points Work
- Each letter tile has a base point value shown above
- Common letters (A, E, I, O, R, S, T) are worth 1 point
- Rare letters (J, Q, Z) are worth 10 points
- Actual game scores multiply letter values with bonus squares (Double/Triple Letter/Word)
- Blank tiles are worth 0 points but can represent any letter
Key Differences from Scrabble
- B, C, M, P: Worth 4 points in WWF (vs 3 in Scrabble)
- H, Y: Worth 3 points in WWF (vs 4 in Scrabble)
- L, N, U: Worth 2 points in WWF (vs 1 in Scrabble)
- V: Worth 5 points in WWF (vs 4 in Scrabble)
- J: Worth 10 points in WWF (vs 8 in Scrabble)
